This Historic Addition involved extensive computer modeling and simulation to demonstrate to historic architectural review the integrity of the design. This was to a late 1800's "miner's shack" on the historic Casey Avenue.

Project 4

The Shonkwiler Residence

3021 Third Street
Boulder, CO

A 3,300 square foot wood and masonry addition on a steeply sloping site against the greenbelt. Extensive architectural requirements including solar access ordinance considerations and city height requirements all shaped the final design. There is extensive open interior space with exterior decks on two levels.
