The Firm of Donato L. Russell - Architecture, Planning and Restoration was founded in Colorado in 1985. With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Russell has completed projects that include multi-story office buildings, commercial tenant finishes, banks, amusement rides, greenhouses, restaurants, additions and residences.
Centrally located in Longmont, CO, the firm has provided clients in surrounding areas with buildings, additions, historic renovations, and planning. Mr. Russell's use of Building Information Modeling and Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) in the practice of architecture has been a primary element in his firm's preparation of construction documents.

Mr. Russell was born in the Colorado mountain town of Central City and has lived in Colorado his entire life. He is the great-grandson of the first Colorado Supreme Court Justice and Congressman James B. Belford. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and has been a registered architect in Colorado since 1973. He continues to meet a spectrum of architectural challenges.
